MEET OUR CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Andrea L. McFall MSW, LCSW

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Andrea received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of New England, and her Bachelor of Behavioral Science from Utah Valley University. As a licensed clinical social worker she practices therapy with all ages, beginning as early as three years old. She practices individual therapy, marriage therapy, family therapy, and various group therapies.**

Prior to becoming a therapist, Andrea enjoyed being a social worker, a private investigator, and a foster mother. Andrea especially enjoyed filling audiences with laughter as a tradeshow presenter.**

Andrea and her husband, Peter, have eight children and seventeen grandchildren. They are enjoying aging and find that their large family, laughter, and staying very physically active are key in keeping them feeling young and full of zest for life.

The most important thing to Andrea is that clients realize that she "gets it." Her life experiences and challenges bring to the table insight and humor that enable her clients to feel quickly connected to her, which facilitates a deeper, more rapid recovery.

Her primary modes of therapy are:

-Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

-Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

-Relational Psychotherapy

-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

-Brief Solution-Focused Therapy

-Strengths-Based Therapy

-Existentialistic Therapy

-Structural Family Therapy

-Family Systems Therapy

-Play Therapy and Sand Tray Therapy
