Andrea L. Cook MSW, LCSW
Andrea received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of New England, and her Bachelor of Behavioral Science from Utah Valley University. As a licensed clinical social worker she practices therapy with all ages. She practices individual therapy, marriage therapy, family therapy, and various group therapies.
She and her husband, David, are the owners of In Sickness and In Health, LLC. Andrea also works as a therapist and supervisor at Wasatch Mental Health for the Grandfamilies of Utah County program and the Strengthening Families program. Prior to becoming a therapist she enjoyed work as a social worker, and a private investigator. Andrea especially enjoyed filling audiences with laughter as a tradeshow presenter.
Andrea and David have five children and five grandchildren. She and her husband enjoyed many foster children as well. The most important thing to Andrea is that clients realize that she "gets it." Her life experiences and challenges bring to the table insight and humor that enable her clients to feel quickly connected to her, which facilitates a deeper, more rapid recovery.
